Accommodations – MainStage

Accessibility for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

The theater is equipped with Listen Technologies to help patrons who require additional audio support in performances. Patrons can request use of an assisted hearing device. They will be given a receiver with three options for earphones:

The device will have a lanyard to which the patrons can wrap around their neck so they don't have to hold it during the performance. Each device has adjustable volume control.

The theater is also equipped with a hearing loop system that will work with qualified hearing aids.

You will need to have a valid ID, driver’s license, or credit card when borrowing a unit. Units are available at both public and school performances.

Main Street Theater also provides closed “in-sync” captioning for selected performances.

Captioned Performances for the 2018-2019 season are:

The Book of Will – Sunday, October 14 at 3pm

Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley – Sunday, December 2 at 3pm

Remaining dates TBD.
