Teaching Assistants & Apprentices
Alex Daily is an honor student from the Emery/ Weiner School. Although she is only a freshman, she will be receiving the Golden Presidential Award for doing over 150 hours of community service in less than one year. This year she was a part of the Emery Varsity Track Team. Alex has also volunteered at the Health Museum of Houston, the Jewish Community Center, and the Friendship Circle. She has been participating in Main Street programs since she was seven years of age. She loved her experience as a camper and hopes to make it just as fun for the new campers.

 Hannah Elle is returning for her third summer as a Teaching Assistant for the Kids On Stage summer camp. As well as summer camp, Hannah has also done various other jobs for KOS, such as four Core Acting sessions, an R&P lab, two sessions of Winter Camp, the Improv Comedy and Stage Combat classes, and hopefully the only session of Hurricane Camp. Hannah is also a successful actress and singer, having just recently graduated from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts with a degree in musical theatre. It's time for another awesome summer!! |

 Philippa Johnstone is 17 years old and will be a senior this fall at Bellaire High School. She enjoys acting, playing the ukulele and banjo, drawing, and reading. She has been in various plays, including The Clumsy Custard and Awesome 80's Prom. This will be her second year as a teacher's assistant at Main Street Theater and she cannot wait to get to know her students. |

 Alexandra Meimoun just completed her Junior year at Emery High School in Houston, TX. She has taken numerous classes in visual and performing arts throughout middle and high school including: Drawing & Painting, Ceramics, Photography and Acapella. She participated in several school productions in sixth through eighth grades including: Crazy for You, The Wizard of Oz and Seussical the Musical. She also played several team sports including volleyball, basketball and tennis. As a camper, she attended various JCC summer programs, Camp Young Judaea (sleep-away) and MST Kids On Stage. More recently Alexandra has worked the past two summers (2008 & 2009) as a Junior Counselor at the Jewish Community Center of Houston Summer Day Camp, and in 2007 she volunteered in the toddler summer program at JCC’s Bertha Alyce Pre-School as a teacher’s aide. She also fulfilled several community service hours at Dionysus Theatre and End Hunger Network. |

 Arielle Meimoun will be starting her Senior year this fall at Emery High School in Houston, TX. Over the years she has played soccer, volleyball and tennis and took a variety of classes in visual and performing arts classes in middle and high school including: Drama, Printmaking, Ceramics and Drawing & Painting. She participated in several middle school productions including: The Wizard of Oz, Seussical the Musical, and Crazy for You. As a younger camper, she attended JCC summer programs, Camp Young Judaea (sleep-away) and spent several summers at MST Kids On Stage. More recently Arielle worked the past two summers (during 2008 & 2009) as a Junior Counselor at the Jewish Community Center of Houston Summer Day Camp, and in 2007 she volunteered at JCC’s Bertha Alyce Pre-School as a teacher’s aide for the toddler classes. She has also volunteered at AIDS Foundation, Dionysus Theatre and Avondale House. |

 Lisa Paulsen is a seventeen-year-old senior at Carnegie Vanguard. She has been a camper at Kids On Stage for 9 years, and a T.A. for 3 years. Lisa had tried several other camps before Main Street Theater’s Kids On Stage, but never liked any of them well enough to go back, until she tried Main Street Theater. She loved it so much, she begged her parents to let her go back, and has come back every year since. Lisa enjoys this camp and all the fun opportunities it has to offer, as well as all the new friends she has met, and can’t wait to get to know your children as well! |

 Jacob Perkel is a junior musical theatre major at the High School For The Performing And Visual Arts. He is looking forward to his first year as a teaching assistant with Main Street Theater’s summer program.

 Ruth Tully is a soon-to-be Junior at the High School For The Performing And Visual Arts in their technical theater program. Next year, she will be taking on production responsibilities for three shows in HSPVA's season: costume design for A Little Night Music, props for Almost, Maine, and stage management for Pippin. She has been in a few KOS productions at Main Street including Jungalbook and And Then There Were None.
