MainStage – Technical Interns


Main Street Theater is seeking to fill a Stage Management Intern position for their production of Cry It Out. Rehearsals begin March 2nd with a production meeting the week prior and you should have availability weekday evenings and weekends.

Performances March 28th – April 19th (Off on Easter Sunday):
Candidates should be available for all rehearsals and performances, though some allowance may be made for school related activities.

Ongoing MainStage Technical Internship Candidate Information:

If you are interested in being a Production Assistant during rehearsals for any of our mainstage shows, please mention that specifically in your contact email. Production assistants attend all rehearsals and assist the Production Stage Manager. (Please note, this is not an AEA contract, but EMC points may be gained.)

Technical interns are also needed to help designers with costumes, lights, carpentry, scenic painting, props, stage management, and running crew.

Theater for Youth – Technical Interns Wanted


Currently seeking costume, lighting, stage management interns for our summer production of Junie B.’s Essential Survival Guide to School.

We are looking for candidates with experience in sound, lighting, scenic carpentry, costuming, and stage management. (Please note: interns with Theater for Youth are not eligible for EMC points via AEA.)

All applicants for Theater for Youth productions MUST have daytime and weekend availability.
