Cedric Duplechain* (Smooch) Cedric Duplechain is thrilled to return to the stage as Smooch in Cold War Choir Practice. A CalArts-trained actor, his television credits include Seinfeld, Dexter, The Young and the Restless, ABC’s American Crime alongside Regina King, and AMC’s The Son with Pierce Brosnan. An accomplished educator and communication professor, Cedric is especially grateful to reconnect with his theatrical roots and proudly share this powerful story with Houston audiences at Main Street Theater.

Hannah Hall (Choir / Very Good Friend and others) Hannah Hall is excited to be a part of this production at Main Street Theater. Hannah was recently in Main Street Theater’s Leopoldstadt by Tom Stoppard (Jana/Sally). She’s currently a Senior Acting student at the University of Houston and has been a part of works such as Frankenstein by Nick Dear (Female Creature) and Richard III (Young Elizabeth/Mistress Shore). She wants to give a huge thanks to her friends and family for all their love and support.
Jade Kelly (Choir / Speak + Spell and others) is excited to return to Main Street Theater. Her theatrical appearances include: The Grippe (Helen), Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas), Bright Star (Alice), Cabaret (Sally), Once upon a Mattress (Winnifred), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), and more. She is also known for her Voice Over work in anime, video games, and audiobook narration. Alongside her acting career, Jade is a professional costume designer and creator. She would like to thank her loved ones for always supporting her creative endeavors.
Leslie Lenert (Virgie) is thrilled to be a part of this dynamic production! Steven J. Scott (Clay) Steven J. Scott returns to Main Street Theater where he previously appeared as Sterling North in Permanent Collection. His credits include Jitney at the Alley Theatre, Fences at the Kennedy Center, the national tour of Set It Off Live, and Plenty of Time at The Ensemble Theatre. Steven has performed in more than 60 productions and serves as Director of Education and Outreach at The Ensemble Theatre. He is also an award-winning director, producer, playwright, and theatre educator.
Bria Washington (Meek) Bria received her B.F.A. in Acting from the University of Texas at Austin. While living in Georgia, she was part of productions at Out of Box Theatre in Marietta, The Vineyard, Onstage Atlanta, and Center Stage North. In Houston, she has worked as an actor with the Ensemble Theatre and the Alley Theatre, while also directing shows around the city. This is her first show with Main Street Theater, and she has loved the opportunity to work with the cast and crew on such an amazing piece of theatre!

Hindolo Bongay (Choreographer) Hindolo Bongay is a Houston-based choreographer, actor, dancer, and arts educator. His work spans professional theatre, concert dance, and arts education, with credits including The Ensemble Theatre, Urban Souls Dance Company, Dance Houston, and Texas Southern University, etc. Passionate about creating movement that deepens storytelling and celebrates culture, Hindolo is thrilled to make his Main Street Theater debut as choreographer for Cold War Choir Practice.

Jacob C. Sanchez (Sound Design) Jacob is the Assistant Technical Director for A.D. Players and is excited to be working with Main Street Theater again. Krystal Uchem (Costume Design) Krystal is an actress and costume designer from Alief, Texas. She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and was recently recognized by Houston Press as one of Houston’s top rising actors and named the 2025 Best Costume Designer for her work on Camp Logan at The Ensemble Theatre. Her Main Street Theater credits include Purlie Victorious (Actor), Trouble in Mind (Costume Designer), A Little House Christmas (Actor), Permanent Collection (Actor), and What The Constitution Means to Me (Costume Designer).
Rodney Walsworth (Props Design/Set Dressing) Over 120 productions as actor, director, set designer, properties and sound design including Wolf Hall, Darwin in Malibu and The Woman in Black. Recent prop designs include Leopoldstadt, The Coast Starlight, Purlie Victorious, Seven Assassins Walk into a Bar, The 39 Steps and The Lightning Thief. Debbie Wylie (Music Director) has been an active pianist and music director in the Houston area for over 25 years, working with professionals as well as young singers and actors. Previous shows with Main Street Theater include Daddy Long Legs, Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, Duck for President, and The True Story of the Three Little Pigs! Debbie’s work with professional, community, and regional theatres totals well over 50 productions, and her work with theatres, schools, and churches on countless projects has been a huge source of joy. She hopes to continue her music career for many years to come.

Actors’ Equity Association (“Equity”) founded in 1913, is the U.S. labor union that represents more than 51,000 professional Actors and Stage Managers. Equity is governed by its own members through an elected Council, representing principal actors, chorus actors and stage managers living in three regions: Eastern, Central and Western. Equity has 28 designated liaison areas, metropolitan areas with a concentration of more than 100 members.
