GENERAL SHOW INFORMATION

Running Time:
45 minutes (Pre-recorded music, Length cannot be shortened)
Load-in Time: One hour and a half prior to show-time.
Load-Out (Departure): Approximately one hour to pack up.
Vehicles & Parking: One Passenger van and one box truck requiring parking. Parking for the touring vehicle must be provided as close to the performance venue as possible. The host will be responsible for any costs incurred for parking.
Passenger Van: Contains the actors.
Box Truck: Contains set, sound equipment, the actors’ luggage, and the costumes.
Technical Rider: Please read over all the needs and requirements contained in this technical rider. If you are unable to accommodate any items listed, please contact the tour office immediately to see what adjustments are possible. If the technical requirements are not met or adjustments previously agreed upon, the stage manager has the right to refuse to do the performance and no refund will be granted.
GENERAL
- MST requires that each performance venue have working A/C, an empty stage and power.
- Please ensure that performance venue and the changing space provided is sufficiently cooled off in advance of the company’s arrival.
- The performance space temperature should be within 65 – 70 degrees.
- In the event that the performance or load-in start time is delayed for over 20 minutes, we will have to reschedule the performance due to scheduling constraints.

- Educational materials to support the performance before and after the show are available on the website and are included in your confirmation packet.

STAGING
- A minimum performance area of 30’ wide by 20’ deep, and a minimum performance area of 10’ in height
LIGHTING
- Venue lighting inventory must be in good working order to light the performance area (as described in STAGING above). This could be just general fluorescents, but the staging area needs to be lit.
- Two (2) electrical outlets in working order, (1) offstage right and (1) offstage left.
- Please test outlets in advance of the company’s arrival to ensure that they’re operable.
ACCESS/LOAD IN
- MST requires someone from the school be onsite and available to the company for the duration of their visit. Please make sure this person has the authority to make decisions to deal with building issues. Please provide our production manager with an emergency contact number to ensure communication in an emergency (cell or home phone of a person with authority).
- MST requires a minimum of one hour of access to the performance space to load in.
- To load in safely, the vehicle must be able to be unloaded nearest the staging area. Double doors leading onto the playing area are preferable. Our set cannot be carried upstairs. If the loading area is shared with Buses or Student drop-off, please discuss the timing of this at the time of booking so we can ensure everyone’s safety. We cannot delay the show due to the inability to unload.
DRESSING ROOMS
- One (1) private dressing area is needed to accommodate seven performers as well as access to a non-student restroom. Please make sure all staff members understand that there will not be access to the dressing area during the entire time of our visit.
- All entrances and windows to the dressing rooms need to be masked from the audience.
- The room must be properly ventilated with working AC and outlets.
- Eight chairs must be provided in the dressing area for the performers and crew.
HOSPITALITY
- MST requires 6 cool full-sized bottled waters, per performance, for four actors and two crew members to be placed in or near the backstage or dressing room area upon arrival.
PHOTOS/PUBLICITY
- Photography and recordings of the production are strictly prohibited by our licensing contracts. A photo of the cast will be emailed to the contact after the performance. Performers will not be able to pose for photos due to time constraints.
